Rainer Fetting. Art Karlsruhe Selection

Rainer Fetting ( *1949 ) became internationally known with his expressive-figurative painting in the late 70s / early 80s as one of the most important protagonists of the so-called "Junge Wilde". The artist's creative aspiration to transcend boundaries, break with conventions, and generally leave familiar paths is still evident today.

Rainer Fetting can now look back on a career spanning more than four decades. Even if recurring motifs can be identified in his works, Fetting succeeds in breaking new painterly ground and maintaining his freshness and creativity.
